Update from Norwin School District
Superintendent Dr. Jeff Taylor
April 27, 2021
Good afternoon,

Due to a sixth positive COVID-19 case at the High School, we will unfortunately need to close the High School after school today and all day on Wednesday, April 28, 2021.

At the recommendation of the PA Department of Health, this will be a one-day closure to complete contact tracing and clean the High School building.

As long as all contact tracing has been completed, we will return to in-person instruction on Thursday, April 29th.

High School teachers will provide remote with synchronous learning on Wednesday.

I will send an additional communication to you on Wednesday in the event that this closure needs to be extended.

All High School athletics and activities are also cancelled this afternoon and Wednesday because additional contact tracing needs to be completed. Mr. Burrell will provide athletic and activity-specific information to coaches and sponsors.

This week's curbside meal pickup has been rescheduled to Thursday, April 29th from 9 to 10am at High School (Door No. 6, auditorium entrance).

Thank you for your continued patience and flexibility during these challenging times.

Best regards,

Dr. Jeff Taylor,
Superintendent
