Readiness 901 Parent Institute! The FACE team has an awesome day of sessions planned, along with a career and college fair, free giveaways- AND, there's free childcare on site! Plus, TV's Judge Glenda Hatchett is the special guest speaker. The event takes place 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the University Center. Don't forget to spread the word and invite all the SCS parents you know!

TONIGHT'S "Envisioning Equity in Education" session is open to all educators and staff!
In alignment with the District's African American Male Empowerment initiative, Dr. John D. Marshall will be leading a session for educators, school/District staff and community members
TONIGHT, Feb. 20, at the TLA. The session is presented by SchoolSeed in partnership with SCS. Dr. Marshall of Jefferson County Public Schools is one of few chief equity officers in the nation- a job designed to ask uncomfortable questions about why some groups of students struggle when others thrive. Marshall does this with conviction--though not always with the utmost diplomacy--in Louisville, a city with a history of confronting racial inequities in its schools.
