Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education
Amplify in April with SCOPE!
Halfway through April and we're feeling grateful for the new and dedicated members of our SCOPE community who are making Strides4SCOPE to help us amplify our impact and give the gift of camp!

GAYLE & DAVID SCHREIBER
SCOPE Supporters

Gayle and David Schreiber ran a summer camp for children for ten years before deciding that it was about time that everybody (adults included) be able to experience the magic of summer camp. They purchased Club Getaway and created a wide range of incredible programs spanning from adult weekends to family camp to adventure days.

About 5 years ago Gayle and David wanted to do more to support the industry and began their deep-rooted relationship with SCOPE. They raise awareness among the Club Getaway community, fundraise in various ways to make camperships available, and Gayle has single-handedly made our benefit giveaways the talk of every SCOPE Benefit. The dedication of the Schreiber family and Club Getaway community is one we are proud to honor on April 22 at the Virtual SCOPE Benefit, as they receive the 2021 Philanthropic Camp of the Year Award! Register now to celebrate with us.
POP FOR A CAUSE
Shop for SCOPE
During many months of home-school and Covid movie nights eating popcorn with her sister, high school sophomore Amanda K. had an idea to start her own business. With the aim of donating all of her profits to charitable causes that resonated with Amanda and her family, Pop for a Cause was born in order to make a difference in the world. Amanda now sells delicious air-popped, homemade popcorn with flavors ranging from sea salt caramel to cookies and cream!

A long-time camper herself, Amanda knows the joy camp brings to all who experience it and has named SCOPE her Cause of the Month for April! All profits THIS MONTH will go directly to support SCOPE, so be sure to buy your popcorn today!
CAMP HOMEWARD BOUND,
NEW YORK
SCOPE Northeast

Homelessness takes a terrible toll on children. Many experience problems in their health, social development, and education later in life as a result of the traumas they’ve endured. To help homeless girls and boys overcome these challenges, Camp Homeward Bound offers multiple sessions throughout the summer, providing all campers with the opportunity to read books, explore the world of science and computers, create art and music, and participate in a wide array of recreational activities that encourage teamwork, responsibility, self-expression and social interaction. As one of our very first SCOPE partner camps, we are proud to partner with the team at Homeward Bound to provide opportunities for all children to gain access to healthy, safe, and fun summer experiences, off the streets and surrounded by nature.
Our event begins with a virtual cocktail menu of elective programs for you
to choose from and participate in.
