WE'RE BACK!
Dear McAuliffe Parents and Families,

With today being our first day back in person, it's also our first time sending out the Eagle Eye this year. The Eagle Eye is an important piece of communication used to connect families with what is happening at McAuliffe.

Today, students returned in two Cohorts (AM and PM) for in-person instruction. Thanks to the tireless efforts of our teachers, classified staff, and admin team students arrived on a campus to directional arrows, new drinking stations, handwashing stations, social distance markers, desk shields, and SMILING faces from staff eager to greet them.

A SAFE RETURN FOR ALL STUDENTS
Today our teachers opened their classroom doors for students for the first time since March 13th. We are so grateful to have kids back on campus and teachers have been EAGERLY waiting and preparing for their return. Teachers helped orient students to the new flow of campus, covered new procedures, and participated in class discussions around critical content. It was a great day!
Safety Enhancements at McAuliffe

Walking around campus, you will notice many things that help ensure your safety and social distance guidelines:

  1. Outdoor Classroom Areas
  2. Water bottle filling stations to replace drinking fountains
  3. Directional Arrows on the ground and hung up on the walls
  4. Handwashing stations for student use
  5. Hand sanitizing stations for students and adults
  6. Desk shields and sanitizing stations in every classroom
