Alive After Five Meets Wizard World Comic Con!

Attendees of Alive After Five this Wednesday have a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with pop culture as Wizard World Comic Con hosts Alive After Five this week! For the first time ever, Wizard World Comic Con is coming to Boise Centre,
July 13-15.
Alive After Five attendees have the chance to win free tickets, pick up Wizard World swag, and hear which celebrities are coming to town for the weekend comic con.
Wizard World Comic Con celebrates the best in pop culture, including Movies, Comics, Toys, Video Gaming, Games, TV, Anime, Manga, Horror, Original Art, Collectibles & More. William Shatner leads the list of celebrities coming to Boise for Wizard World Comic Con. The celebrities are known for their popular roles in movies including Star Trek, Hellboy, Sons of Anarchy, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and The Legend of Zelda. A number of official Cosplay guests are also scheduled to greet fans at the Boise Centre event.
As Wizard World brings pop culture to Alive After Five, artists for this week reflect Boise's increasingly diverse ethnic culture. Opening Alive After Five this week are two musicians visiting Boise directly from the Basque Country. Headlining the event is the group named as this year's Cultural Ambassadors for the City of Boise, Afrosonics.
About Alive After Five:
Alive After Five is Boise's favorite summer concert series. The free event is produced by the Downtown Boise Association, presented by Delta Air Lines, and supported by the Capital City Development Corporation.
Music goes from 5 - 8pm on The Grove Plaza each Wednesday June through August. Alive After Five this week features food from The Basque Market, a variety of beverages, engaging vendor booths, and ice cream from The STIL. Beverage tips benefit CATCH, a non-profit working to end homelessness.
