FEBRUARY 2022
Since the early days of the pandemic, His Holiness, the Dalai Lama has been advising his followers to repeat Tara's mantra in order to contain the threat posed by Covid-19. He has recently reiterated this advice.

Tara, (tib. Dolma), is the main female Bodhisattva of compassion and action, a protector who comes to our aid to relieve us of physical, emotional and spiritual suffering. For centuries Tibetans have used mantra recitation to help quell natural disasters, including pandemics.
OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SOHA
There are many great YouTube videos of the Tara Mantra set to music:
Green Tara is usually shown in a posture of ease and readiness for action. Her left leg is folded in the contemplative position and her right leg is outstretched, ready to step down from her lotus throne to offer comfort and protection. Her left hand is in the protection mudra; her right hand makes the wish-granting offering gesture. In her hands she holds blue lotuses), which symbolize purity and power.

THIS MONTH'S PRACTICE & NAGA CALENDARS
During the last month (12th) of the Tibetan Year, Nagas are guarding and holding their treasures. If you make offerings to them on one of the Naga Offering Days listed below, they will come under your command and will grant your wishes. If you make offerings to them on any other day, then no matter how good your offering is, they will think it is bad and there will be no result.
During the last month of the year, the best days to make offerings to the Nagas are February 11 (Guru day) and the 17th. There are many days to avoid, particularly February 19th.
We appreciate feedback from our customers; encouragement ,suggestions and constructive criticism. We also enjoy getting photos of prayer flags on display, especially ones you got from us.
