February in Truro...
This month we pick up over an hour of additional daylight, but with temperatures just about the same as January. That's not enough sun to overcome the frigid bay and ocean waters and the cold of the frozen ground.
Expect an average temperature of 31°F, with average lows of 22°F and highs of 36°F. We get an average total of 4 inches of rain and 10 inches of snow.
Below are some of the activities and events happening about town this month.

Contra dancing is the older cousin to the square dance. No fancy footwork needed - if you can walk, you can dance! All the dances are taught and called. If you're new to contra dance, be sure to get in on the early dances for the basic moves. And don't miss out on our welcoming and delicious potluck at 6:00. Dance at 7pm. Suggested donation is $10.
