Wondering what to do with those leftover Halloween pumpkins? Head out to Pottawatomie Park to participate in The Great Pumpkin Bowl! Use the hill to roll pumpkins down towards giant bowling pins. Warm apple cider will be provided. Fundraiser for:
STC Underground Teen Center.

Ho! Ho! Ho! Add to the excitement of Christmas for your little one with a letter from the jolly guy himself, Santa Claus, straight from the North Pole. Here's how:
  1. Register your child for Letter from the North Pole
  2. Have your child write a letter to Santa Claus
  3. Parent complete Santa's Check List from the North Pole Form. Forms are available at stcparks.org, the Pottawatomie Community Center and Baker Community Center.
  4. Parent place your child's letter and Santa's Check List from the North Pole Form in a sealed envelope
  5. Beginning November 22, bring your child to the Pottawatomie Community Center to place their letter in Santa Claus' Mailbox or place the letter in the mail addressed to Santa Claus, Letter from the North Pole, St. Charles Park District, 8 North Ave., St. Charles, IL 60174. Include child letter along with Santa's Check List Form
Letters from North Pole Form must be received between
Nov 22- Dec 9. Santa's helpers at the St. Charles Park District will take care of the rest! Registration required.

Come have breakfast with the Jolly ole guy himself! Participants will enjoy breakfast buffet while Santa visits with each child. After breakfast each participant will get to make a special craft to take home. Participants must be accompanied by a registered parent. One parent may accompany multiple children from the same household. Advance registration required.

Extend your preschooler's day, or just come for the afternoon! Instructors will escort students to classes at the same facility they attend preschool. The park district does not transport children between centers.

Graham crackers, frosting, colorful candies are yummy in your tummy! Who doesn't love to make a house decorated with sweet candy? Work as a team with your child as you create an adorable house made with lots of yummy things to eat this holiday season.

Seasonal Dance
Sessions are shorter and provide young dancers the opportunity to try different disciplines of dance before
making the commitment to the Dance Recital program. Parent observation will be held during the last class.
 
Required Attire: All dancers should have hair up (out of face). Hip Hop classes may wear athletic wear and clean athletic shoes. All other classes should wear a leotard and tights with pink or black ballet
shoes. Boys may wear athletic wear with appropriate dance shoes; black shoes for ballet.
 
Creative Movement - Introduction to body awareness and dance concepts using your own creativity, props and music. 

Tip Toes & Me - This is a parent/child class. Introduction to creative movement, music, props and peers.

Hip Hop Tumble - Combination of sports and tumbling skills with the upbeat, exciting world of hip hop.

Lil' Hip Hop - Learn high-energy, age-appropriate moves set to today's popular upbeat music.

NEW! A Little Ballet - Introduction to ballet positions, steps, coordination, musicality and rhythm while using creative imagery to inspire young minds and bodies.

Developmental Soccer League at Sportsplex

Based on the U.S. Soccer National Youth Module, this program is designed to improve a player's ability to dribble and move or pass the soccer ball in a team environment. Fee includes t-shirt and trophy. Bring soccer cleats, soccer ball size 4, shin guards and a water bottle. Held at Sportsplex.


Floor Hockey League
Ages 4-6

This super-fun and instructional league will teach children the game of hockey before the skates go on with emphasis on teamwork and having fun. This league is great for beginners and for all-stars who want to sharpen their skills. All games will be held at the same time each week. Each child will receive a team jersey and trophy. Held at Geneva Park District - Western Avenue School.
