CORA's teachers have been doing a tremendous job providing service to the students on their caseload in the schools of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and many other non-public schools in and around the city. On a typical school day, a CORA educator works with their students to provide support in reading and math. They aim to help their students develop the critical reading and math skills needed so they can experience academic success in the classroom.
When COVID-19 closed school buildings and made learning at home the new norm, the CORA teachers didn't miss a beat. They connected with their students and families on virtual platforms and made sure their students continued to receive the support they needed to be successful. The CORA teachers also emailed resources to parents to make sure learning continued at home. Now that school's out for summer, CORA wants to make sure that students can continue to stay sharp by participating in some fun educational activities.
