Atonement is hosting "Community Building Conversations" sponsored by Isaiah, to address:
systemic racism
how it plays out in St Cloud
how all of us are harmed by this system.
It will also provide opportunities to take real action this fall that will build a future that rejects these systems once and for all. This event will be held outside. Please bring a chair or blanket and wear a mask. In the event of rain, the event will be held online using Zoom.
Atonement has an abundance of adults who can read and write letters. Atonement also has a bunch of young people who are and will be challenged by an online life that may include school the fall and maybe even church. How about volunteering to be a PenPal with a young person? It's a chance to get offline, share stories and have a real relationship with someone. August Newsletter Delayed
Due to Covid-19 uncertainty the August Newsletter will be delayed and/or canceled until the leadership at Atonement has clarity about the Fall 2020 programming schedule.
The biggest challenge to High School Youth Ministry is contacting the youth directly. Pastor Tim and Pastor John would like to contact youth directly to invite them to gather for ice cream, informal gatherings and service projects. The most effective way to communicate is via texts or other social media. We invite you submit contact information for High School Youth associated with Atonement that we can use it to connect with them directly.
