Change is inevitable.
Change is constant.

Each of us is on a journey, and sometimes that journey takes us down new roads. For Miss Tolomeo and Mrs. Hogan, these new roads will begin shortly. Miss Tolomeo has resigned from her position at St. Catherine of Siena School and will be heading down a new career path. She will continue at SCSS through November. At this time, we are beginning a search for her replacement. Mrs. Hogan, who is employed by the Town of Trumbull, has been reassigned to a different location. She will be training the nurse who will be taking the position beginning next week. We wish both Miss Tolomeo and Mrs. Hogan the best in their future endeavors.

Thank you to all parents and teachers for taking the time to share student progress at conferences this week. The home-school connection is such an important one, and this team approach is the best way to foster school success. As you entered the building, you surely noticed the beautiful Trees of Hope that were decorated by each class. I am so touched and impressed by each tree's unique beauty, and I am so thankful for the volunteers who took the time to work in the classrooms to create these amazing trees.

Thank you to Mrs. Ferreira and all of the volunteers who made this year's Book Fair a success. Our Villarina's and Butter Braids fundraisers were also very successful again this year. Many thanks to Mrs. Corsello and Mrs. Ferreira for coordinating and to all of the volunteers to came to pitch in. I know I have said it before, but we are so fortunate to have so many people who put in countless hours for the benefit of our school community.

God Bless,
Mrs. Ambrosio
