Get to Know Your Mobile Crisis Response Team
The Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) is a vital link in the chain between a behavioral health crisis and recovery.

A behavioral health crisis is any situation in which one's behaviors put them or others at risk, or when one is not able to resolve the situation by themselves.

MCRT is available 24/7/265 at 603-816-0101 to deescalate the situation, begin behavioral health triage, and arrange for further treatment if necessary. Specialists are ready to provide either phone counseling or in-person intervention -- via a fleet of mobile crisis vans and qualified staff -- to anyone within a ten-town region that includes:
  • Amherst
  • Brookline
  • Hollis
  • Hudson
  • Litchfield
  • Mason
  • Merrimack
  • Milford
  • Mont Vernon
  • Nashua

MCRT includes a master's-level clinician and peer on hand to provide immediate support, as well as referral to short- or long-term treatment programs as appropriate. Crisis services through MCRT are covered by insurances, and a grant covers those who are under-insured or have no insurance at all; this makes MCRT free to anyone who needs it. Please call 603-816-0101 if you or someone you know is suffering.

Beyond crisis management, MCRT staff also provide training to the general public on how to identify and provide "mental health first aid" to those who are suffering a behavioral crisis, and how to access appropriate help. Classes include up to eight hours of instruction for youth and adults at schools, businesses, churches, as well as civic or governmental organizations. Please email j.cline@nhpartnership.org if you would like to arrange training.
