An Update for Great Hearts Families
Dear Great Hearts Families,

Now that county health orders have officially delayed the start of in-building school until September, we know that all of our scholars will begin with our Great Hearts Distance Learning program.  Please know that school will begin on-time and on-line: August 12 in San Antonio, and August 19 in Irving and Fort Worth.  Plans for starting the year on-line were developed in the spring and are in motion now, and we are confident that robust teaching and learning can begin on schedule.

We remain committed to opening up schools in person as soon as we are able to do so, while continuing to offer distance learning to all families who want it in 2020-2021.

Two other reminders:

  • Earlier this week you received a technology access survey. Please fill it out before the close date of Monday, July 27. It is very important that all families complete this so that Great Hearts can ensure all students have access to a computer for the all-online start to the school year. Click here to complete the survey.

We know that constantly changing norms and directives from state and county authorities can cause stress for families. Great Hearts is committed to keeping steady in the midst of ongoing change and uncertainty, and our gaze is unwaveringly fixed upon fulfilling your expectations of a Great Hearts education for your children.

Yours faithfully,
Dr. Daniel P. Scoggin
