The Intercollegiate YMCA
After being awarded with an Indiana Department of Education 2019 Experiential Grant, the Intercollegiate YMCA took 30 kids from the Laurelwood community on their first overnight camping trip this month.

The YMCA partnered with Jameson Camp - located on the west side of Indianapolis - to bring this adventure to life. Jameson Camp strives to enrich the lives of Indiana youth by inspiring them to discover their strengths.

Throughout the weekend, the YMCA provided their youth with some of their first experiences in rock climbing, creek stomping, archery, sleeping in cabins, low-ropes courses, and so much more.

For more information about the Intercollegiate YMCA's programming, email Program Director Ashleigh Coster at acoster@indymca.org.
