Last school year, New Heights School accepted ATB Financial's offer of partnering with them. This partnership was initiated for three purposes.
1️⃣ Help students develop the skills to deposit money. All students get to make deposits (however small) bi-weekly when the school branch is open.
2️⃣ Give students an opportunity to practice administrative duties to facilitate their fellow students making deposits.
3️⃣ Give others an opportunity to practice group decision-making and executing plans to encourage opening a savings account and depositing money.
Good news - This partnership continues this school year! ATB will support this program with staff and a spending account to cover promotional costs. We support the students with hosting the ATB New Heights branch at the school and enjoy watching students learn and work together.
The New Heights School branch 2019/20 will be open from 12:00 - 12:30 pm every second Tuesday starting November 5.
