LACCE COVID-19 Resource Page
|
Don't forget we have created a
COVID-19 resource page
on the LACCE website that houses local, state, and federal updates.
One important aspect of the page are the samples that have been provided by your LACCE peers - thanks so much to all of you who have shared links and samples! Here are some of the items that have been shared lately:
- Link - Bossier Chamber - Phase 0.5 Reopening Chalk Support
- Link - Jefferson Chamber - WWL-TV Commercial
- Link - St. Tammany Chamber - Back to Business Toolkit
Be sure to keep sharing your recovery materials as we move through the month!

LACCE Associate Member Updates

For the past few months, most of us have been quarantined at home with our families 24/7, hopefully re-discovering the importance of being present with those around us. Just as a horse’s physical survival depends on mindfulness of their current environment, so does the survival of the relationships we establish at work. As you head back to your work environment, check out our blog,
Look to the Herd, Part 3: Living in the Moment
and then give us a call to begin planning a fall leadership workshop for your team.

The Chamber recently held a
soft opening of its new office in Olde Towne Slid
ell.
The office, located at 2220 Carey St., will open fully to the public on July 1. Though the official grand opening is more than two months away, spirits were high for the soft opening of the building, which sits among a row of popular restaurants, reception venues and saloons in the heart of the city’s historic district. The chamber is renting the nearly 2,500-square-foot building with plans to eventually host networking events and business meetings, as well as provide space for chamber staff to handle administrative duties, including greeting visitors to the parish and prospective members.

We held a drive in
Brown Bag Concert
in the smaller community of Calhoun in May. Had approximately 30 cars with 65 retirees, families, and business leaders. Two food trucks. Local news ran the story three times during each hour and came for a followup report. Saving our sponsorships and earning more exposure for them. We also held 4 virtual concerts in May at noon, too. These concerts got over 2,000 views as opposed to the average 75 attendees. Again, happy, happy Sponsors!!! Catch the Duck Dynasty pun??
