Mr. Christensen comes to us with an extensive educational background, having served as a teacher for 21 years, 19 of which were served in Christian education! Lisa Wilcox - Extended Care Coordinator

Hello! My name is Lisa Wilcox. I’m so excited to join the Hillcrest family. I feel blessed to be your new summer camp director and extended care director. I feel God has called me to work with children. I’m a mom of two sons who are 8 and 9 years old and will be attending Hillcrest. I love nurturing and teaching children! This opportunity has been so rewarding for me on so many levels. I give God all the glory for connecting me with all of you. God is so good.
Craig Henderson - Football Coach and Weight Training Teacher
Coach Henderson grew up in Compton, CA where he earned honors as an All-American running back in high school. After high school, Craig went on to play in college at Southern Oregon State University and was named an All-American during his junior and senior years. Growing up in Compton, Craig learned many difficult lessons about involving yourself in the wrong crowd and the trouble that can bring. While that brought trouble in his college days, it ultimately brought a humble and dedicated heart to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Craig has since dedicated his adult life to kids and showing them who they can be in Jesus.
Peter Espinosa - Secondary History Teacher and Worship Band Leader

I was born and raised in Southern California and lived in Ventura County briefly in the early 2000s. I have also lived in several states throughout the country and am excited to be returning home. I am a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran with a BA degree in Political Science from the University of Southern California and a MA degree in Education from the University of Phoenix.

I have taught high school social studies in Massachusetts for the last 5 years. I am also a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist and have been performing professionally for the last 12 years in Arizona and Massachusetts. In addition to teaching, I was also the Assistant Music Director and a worship leader at my previous church in Massachusetts.

I have been married for 21 years and have four children, all of whom will be attending Hillcrest in the Fall and we will be living in Ventura. I collect guitars, ties, and coffee mugs. I also enjoy sports, reading, movies, trivia, and spending time with my family.

I can't wait to share my passion for US History and music with the students at Hillcrest!
We would like to wish our Finance Director, Patty Marcinka a blessed farewell, as she leaves us to relocate to Florida. We will miss her very much and pray abundant happiness over her and her husband in their new home closer to her grandbabies :o)
Lisa Rimke - Finance Director

We are happy to announce Lisa Rimke as our new Finance Director. She is a Certified Public Accountant and will be working on-site, in the finance office Monday - Friday. We are looking forward to having them join the Hillcrest family!

Jennifer is also a published author and is completing a new book and passion project called "Finding Freedom as Daughter of the King."
