MIAMI BEACH JCC
Important Health Message

January 2, 2022

Dear Members,

We have been notified over the weekend, that one of our employees who works in the fitness center tested positive for COVID-19. The employee was at the MBJCC last, on Friday, December 31 between 5:30 am - 11:30 am. At this time, they are doing fine and are not exhibiting symptoms.

We have contacted the Department of Health and consulted with health professionals. They have advised us that those individuals, staff/participants that have been in close contact with the employee (less than 6ft for more than 15 minutes) on Friday during the above hours, should self-quarantine and get tested. For proper testing and quarantine guidelines please follow the MBJCC COVID-19 Protocols and Procedures at www.mbjcc.org

Additionally, we have taken the following steps:
1.  Deep sanitization of the facility and sanitization of the immediate area including high touch points and
2.  Surveyed staff and participants who might have had direct contact for symptoms and have advised them to get tested and quarantine.

We will notify you as soon as we have more information and if any further steps are necessary.
