NASIMCO visits New York Jamaat

The month of April was a busy month as the Hon. Secretary General made his way to visit NASIMCO member Jamaat, Shia Ithna'asheri Jamaat of New York (SIJNY).
The Executive Committee of SIJNY welcomed Br. Arif Asaria to their newly constructed center in Hicksville, New York, USA. It was a warm welcome where various topics were discussed to include the completion of the new SIJNY Centre.

Hon. Secretary General Attends Symposium on Islam and Sectarian  De-esclation

On the weekend of April 14th and 15th, 2018, NASIMCO Hon. Secretary General, Br. Arif Asaria was invited to speak at the First Annual Symposium on Islam, Dialogue and Secretarian De-Escalation at the Harvard Kennedy School, Boston, USA. 
The symposium was held at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, Iran Project. The agenda was to push forward analytical understanding and dialogue on the pressing topic of sectarianism in the Muslim World.

In the Qur'an, God swears, "By the dawn, and by the ten nights." [1] Why swear by dawn and what could potentially be an inner meaning? The time of dawn represents the beginning of light, a new day, and for many, a new opportunity.
