Downtown Partners' major summer event, A Very Vintage Market, takes place in the 
100 - 700 blocks of Jefferson tomorrow from 9 AM to 4 PM. Over 100 vendors will be on hand with antiques, vintage-inspired décor, repurposed items, architectural salvage, and more. The event, brought to you by Titan Broadcasting and Pinned It Creations, will include a food court and live music as well.
The market is in the 300 - 500 blocks on Thursday from 4:30 to 7 PM with fresh produce, baked goods, food vendors, crafts, live music by Diane DeJaynes, and more. Sweet corn is here! The Jefferson St. Farmers Market is organized by Downtown Partners, Inc. and supported by Two Rivers Bank & Trust.
What: All downtown business owners, employees, and residents are invited to gather with their neighbors at this free quarterly event, sponsored by the Ivy Bake Shoppe. Plans and timeline for the TIGER grant will be discussed, and we'll have time for people to share their updates, too.

The Gus Macker 3-on-3 basketball tournament is coming back to the Burlington Riverfront August 3 - 4, 2019! Save the date for this festival of family fun designed for basketball players who love the fun of the driveway game - male or female, from age 7 to 70-plus, short and tall, the most experienced or those with little or no experience. The Convention & Visitors Bureau is looking for future volunteers to help with clean up at the Port of Burlington Welcome Center. Now that the flood waters have receded, we are assessing the damage. The Burlington RAGBRAI Planning Committee hopes you're ready to Rally to the Alley this summer. More than 30,000 people from all over the United States, and the world, will be coming to Burlington for the last overnight of the 47th Register's Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI®) Friday, July 26. Break out your pompoms, grab a megaphone and let's hear your Rally to the Alley spirit! Get ready to Rally to the Alley on Friday, 
July 26! 
What:  With such a huge number of riders coming into town, safety is at the forefront for Burlington RAGBRAI. In order to keep riders and residents safe, traffic will be detoured at select locations. As riders come into town, Gear Avenue south of the hospital and West Avenue from Gear Avenue to Howard Avenue will be closed. In addition, Mason Road between Roosevelt and Hageman Avenues will be closed to traffic except for those who live along the route. A detour will be set up at Starr Avenue to detour vehicles to Division Street. Local traffic is encouraged to steer clear of the closed sections, especially during heavy bike traffic times between 10 AM and 3 PM on Friday, July 26 and from 6 AM and 9 AM on Saturday, July 27. If you are out driving, please be vigilant and aware of your surroundings at all times throughout the day and night. Please follow these tips and help make sure everyone stays safe during Burlington RAGBRAI.

What:  Preservation Station is the Heritage Trust's all-volunteer salvage and resale program for old house materials. They will be open tomorrow during A Very Vintage Market in downtown Burlington.

What: The conductor of the Muni Band's eighth summer concert will be long-time band member Mike Lachnitt. Mike's musical selections will reflect his chosen concert theme of international travel. The concert is free of charge and family-friendly. Bring a lawn chair, a blanket or sit on provided benches.
