DSHRM Webinar:
"Changing Cultures through Conversations"

Tuesday, September 29th, 2020 12Noon
Webinar

Presenters: Ed Holinski, Jim Rush, and Sheila Martinez

Overview
Apertus will provide insights on the importance of culture and how to manage a seemingly amorphous differentiator. In our uncertain and volatile conditions, culture can be a force multiplier in driving higher levels of performance. A resilient and innovative culture will increasingly require leaders who are connectors – and who mindfully become more proficient at being attentive and open.
As we enter this next phase, employees have anxiety and concerns, based on individual experiences. Leaders will benefit from learning how employees are feeling, so they can help them re-orient productively. We will help participants focus on new ways of listening, acknowledging, and learning about employees. Conducting better conversations will help to understand employee concerns and create the cohesion needed to drive strategy shifts.

Learning Objectives
You will come away from this session with a better understanding of:
1.     Culture drivers and becoming more resilient
2.     The importance of being attentive and open
3.     How to understand employee expectations and support them
4.     How leaders can build the capability to become culture drivers
