Monday, March 2 Peep Diorama Contest! Make your book or movie-themed diorama at home, include at least one peep, and then bring it to be displayed in the library. Thursday, March 26 from 5:00 to 6:15 p.m. Spring Book Discussion Series: The Road Trip. In the beginning, mythic stories featured heroes who went off on solitary journeys, where they encountered challenges that necessitated their proving themselves up to the job. The buddy story followed later, think of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, and has been a favorite of visual medias as it allows for a variety of contrasting effects. One particular subcategory of this kind of plot involves the road trip. This month's book is One Plus One by Jojo Moyes. Reading Room. Please Register.
 
Saturday March 28 at 2:30 p.m. West Side Story Series: Part Four* Book Talk: Dancing Man: A Broadway Choreographer's Journey Author Tom Santopietro will interview Kent resident, noted choreographer Bob Avian as they discuss their new book Dancing Man: A Broadway Choreographer's Journey. Bob began his career as a dancer and was in more than a dozen Broadway shows including West Side Story and Funny Girl. This will be their  first event to celebrate the newly published book. Meet various examples from these two similar, yet different groups of animals. Learn about their natural history and the importance of their conservation. Saturday, April 18 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Spring Teen Appetizer Challenge Calling all teen chefs! The theme is "Spring" and the budget is $15 or less. (Please bring receipts for ingredients.) Your appetizers will be judged on Presentation, Flavor, and Creativity. Entrants should bring their own knives, cutting boards, platters, etc. -also their talent, creativity and cooking skills.
