7th Grade Student Immunization Reminder

ALL seventh grade students need to turn in immunization records reflecting that required boosters have been given. It is important that this is sent in as soon as possible to avoid exclusion from school. If records are not received by October 7th your student will not be permitted to attend classes.
Fundraising Committee Meeting

The Fundraising Committee will be meeting on Monday 9/30 at 8:30 a.m. The meeting agenda can be found HERE .
Aloha Luau Middle School Dance

Mark your calendar! All Socrates Academy Middle School students are invited to the Aloha Luau Dance on October 11th from 7-9 p.m. Cost is $6 and tickets will be sold by student council the week before the dance. Price includes snacks, beverages and a DJ to spin the tunes! Dance permission form and volunteer sign up coming soon.
Odyssey of the Mind Interest Meeting

Ms. Christian will be hosting an Odyssey of the Mind interest meeting on Tues, Oct 8 from 6-7pm in H10 (Intermediate Building) . We will have 2 teams this year, 1 middle school 
and 1 upper elementary (3-5). The date for student try outs for the teams will be held later in October and e ach team can have 7 members. If you are able to help, please contact [email protected]

OM (Odyssey of the Mind) is a creative problem-solving competition where students have to create 
solutions to long-term problems and present at the meet in the spring. There are also spontaneous
problems that have to be solved at the competition.

Grades K-8 : Tuesday Afternoon 3:30 pm-4:30 pm
Starts: Tuesday, October 1 through Tuesday, December 17
Our 8th grade scholars are making blankets for people in need through Project Linus on October 25th. We have 75 scholars making blankets and we need fleece fabric, minimum length cut should be 2 yards, assuming a 60” width. Earn 3 hours for every piece you donate. We are looking for child-friendly patterns, as most of these will go to children, infants - 18 years of age. Help us help others!

Monday Funday Teacher Lunch Relief

Many of our teachers eat lunch while standing so they can oversee the children eating lunch. Be a teacher's hero and join us on Mondays for lunch! Volunteers will help students open packages and keep an eye out for horseplay while the teachers enjoy sitting during their lunch time. Want to help?

  • Help Out with Play Rehearsals Sign Up >> Monitor the kids and help them learn their lines.

  • Paint the Sets Sign Up >> No experience necessary. Paint the sets solid colors, paint inside of the lines (Paint by number)

  • Volunteer the Night of the Play Sign Up >> Help with concessions, ticket sales, or costuming.

  • Donate Paint for Set Design Old house paint, (gallons), half full or more Craft paint (small bottles OK)

  • Help with the School Store SIGN UP

  • Used: Cameras, Video Recorders (10 hours) Glue Guns & Glue Gun Sticks (2 hours for glue gun, 1 hour for each pack of sticks) Needles & Thread for Sewing (2 hours)
