Old Dominick Distillery Releases Craft Gin to Growing Portfolio
Old Dominick Distillery of Memphis, Tennessee, will release a permanent gin to the Distillery’s growing portfolio of craft spirits. Old Dominick Gin will be available in select states beginning March 1. (CraftSpiritsMag.com)
Wigle to Release Bottled-in-Bond Leap Year Rye on Saturday
One of Wigle Whiskey's barrels of rye turns four this Saturday, Feb. 29—Leap Year Day, of course—and to mark the occasion, the Pittsburgh-based distillery will be releasing a limited number of bottles of it as its next Deep Cut offering. (CraftSpiritsMag.com)
Copper & Kings, Kentucky Peerless Launch Collaborative Spirits
Copper & Kings American Brandy Co. and Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co. of Louisville, Kentucky, recently announced two novel barrel-finished, limited release collaborations together. A pure copper pot-distilled American Brandy aged in Kentucky Peerless rye whiskey barrels, and a rye whiskey aged in American Alembic absinthe barrels. (CraftSpiritsMag.com)

Blood x Sweat x Tears Vodka Partners With Best Friends Animal Society
Blood x Sweat x Tears Vodka recently announced its partnership with Best Friends Animal Society, a leading national animal welfare organization dedicated to ending the killing of dogs and cats in America’s shelters. The partnership kicked off with a $20,000 cash donation from the brand, which is made by Wolf Spirit Distillery in Eugene, Oregon, and is expanding into an ongoing fundraising campaign that will help Best Friends towards its mission to make America no-kill by 2025.  (CraftSpiritsMag.com)
Talnua Distillery to Host One-Year Anniversary Party
Talnua Distillery of Arvada, Colorado, announced plans for its one-year anniversary on March 14-15. The St. Patrick’s Day party will coincide with a release of limited-edition bottles of Olde Saint’s Keep Whiskey. The festivities will include specialty cocktails, live entertainment, pet adoptions and more. (CraftSpiritsMag.com)
Alaska Senate Approves Alcohol-Reform Law Boosting Distilleries
Alaska’s breweries will be able to stay open longer and host a limited number of live-music events under a sweeping rewrite of the state’s alcohol laws approved unanimously by the Alaska Senate on Wednesday. Senate Bill 52, sponsored by Sen. Peter Micciche, R-Soldotna, advances to the House. Lawmakers there killed a previous version of the rewrite two years ago. (Anchorage Daily News)
New Jersey's Long Branch Distillery Opens to Public
Construction on Long Branch Distillery's facility began in December 2018, and the distillery, tasting room and lounge, encompassing 5,000 square feet inside a 100-year-old building, celebrated its soft opening Feb. 20. It will be open Thursdays through Sundays. (Asbury Park Press)
