Fall 2020 High School and Middle School Athletic Information

Dear Crusader Nation,

As your Northwest Christian Crusaders prepare to make a run at repeating the 3A state Volleyball title, enjoy our first-ever opportunity to grab the 4A state Football trophy, and work hard to place for more runners on the state Cross Country podium than ever before, we are also working within the guidelines put forward by the Arizona Interscholastic Association for spectators.  The single largest issue in front of us will be the limits on capacity for both indoor and outdoor events.  In order to facilitate the reduced capacity, we will be utilizing an online ticket system.  The purpose of this communication is to familiarize you with the process so that we can pack the stands and cheer on the teams.  Please be mindful of the following...
  • Spectator capacity
    • Because ticket capacity has been limited, certain home games will be live streamed.  More information on this option will be provided at a later date.
    • For Varsity and Junior Varsity home football games, 600 tickets will be available for each game.  Of these, 100 will be reserved for families that purchase the annual family sports pass (information on this option follows), 50 will be reserved for faculty and staff, 100 will be reserved for Northwest Christian students, and 350 will be available to others.
    • For Varsity and Junior Varsity home volleyball games in the Don Sanderson Gymnasium, 125 tickets will be available for each game.  Of these, 25 will be reserved for families that purchase the annual family sports pass (information on this option follows), 15 will be reserved for faculty and staff, 25 will be reserved for students, and 60 will be available to others.
    • Aside from tickets purchased online, no other tickets to athletic events will be available.
    • These ticket numbers do not include visiting spectators.  Visiting teams will have a limited number of tickets made available through their home school.  These tickets are not available to Crusader home fans.
    • As has been the case for many years, the school will be selling a limited number of family sports passes.  There will be 100 of these passes available at $200/each within the school's athletic office starting on Monday, September 21st (during school hours).  These passes will allow your family to attend all home games throughout the entire school year.
  • Social distancing and face coverings
  • Dates for distribution of tickets
    • Whether football or volleyball, varsity or junior varsity, all home tickets will be available at the price of $5 each.  Student and staff tickets will be $3 each.
    • Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Unfortunately, once tickets are sold out, no other tickets will be available.
    • All fall season high school volleyball and football games (V and JV) will be available to the families of participating athletes via an email that will go out uniquely to them at 6pm on Sunday, September 20th.
    • All other tickets will be available via an email that will be sent out to the entire Crusader Nation at 6pm on Monday, September 21st.
    • Please be aware that all dates are subject to change or cancellation based on decisions independent of Northwest Christian School.
