A Solution for More Virginians
A message from our President & CEO, Bruce Phipps

You may have seen in the news over the past couple of months that Goodwill Industries of South Central Virginia (Danville) was having financial difficulty. This Goodwill was a much smaller organization than our Goodwill in Roanoke. They filed for reorganization, seeking protection from creditors under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code earlier this year. In order to continue providing mission services in an area of the Commonwealth that so desperately needs it and to continue store operations, both our Goodwill organization and the Goodwill headquartered in Richmond will now operate these services and stores.
