Director's Corner

It is hard to believe that summer is almost over!  School has just started for some children, while others have a couple of days yet to enjoy summer fun.  Our high school senior students who worked at the Library this summer are attending various colleges and universities, including Georgia Tech, Pitt, Drexel, Montgomery County Community College and University of Delaware.

As a center of life-long learning, the Library celebrates the start of another school year for people of all ages.

At the Library, we will continue to offer a wide array of programming included a new October offering designed and run by students from Gwynedd Mercy University. The program, Crafting with a Purpose, has a limited enrollment of 15 seniors. Sign up now if you are interested in crafts and helping others. There is no fee to attend and a wonderful group of college students will facilitate the classes.

Sign up on-line, in person or via the phone for events such as the Cook Book Club, Book Discussion, Tai Chi and more.

We welcome your ideas for programs and items to circulate.

Enjoy the cooler days of fall.

Happy Reading,

Jayne
