Dear Majestic Owners,

As of 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 28th, The Nation Hurricane Center has upgrade Dorian to hurricane status. The latest forecast has Dorian crossing through the Bahamas over the weekend before moving toward the Southeast coast of the United States. Right now the track shows Hurricane Dorian reaching Catagory 3 status, with winds of 115 mph upon making landfall anywhere between Miami and the Carolinas. However, as we learned from Hurricane Michael, these storms can change quickly. If you recall, Hurricane Michael was expected to be a catagory 2 storm. Than overnight it quickly grew to a catagory 4 and eventually a catagory 5 before making landfall. The point is, everyone needs to pay close attention to this storm. At this point it is still too far out to determine where it will hit on the eastern coast and the potential for this storm to get into the Gulf of Mexico. We will know more this weekend on the impacts to our area.

As with our previous notice, you should already have a plan in place on making preparations to your unit. Owners and/or their rental management company are responsible for removing patio furniture ensuring the doors and windows are secure. The Association Management team will be busy getting the common areas secure.

Should you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact the Association Office (850)563-1015.

Sincerely,

Paul Shamblin
