Mr. Evans’ presentation will include an explanation of how employers can hire for success while reducing risk of loss, and limit employer liability by implementing cost effective steps throughout the screening process.

William D. Evans, II is the founder and president of Poly-Tech Associates, Inc. which was originally founded in 1977 to provide forensic polygraph services. Mr. Evans offers polygraph expertise as a nationally recognized expert, practices as an attorney and is an educator. His Poly-Tech business also expanded over the years to include interviewing, testing, and screening for companies and public service agencies around the state.
As an attorney, Mr. Evans is a consultant for his clients on challenging internal matters, involving employment issues. Bill earned his Master’s and Law Degrees from the University of Akron, and has served on numerous community non- profit boards, including the All-American Soap Box Derby, Summit County Children Services, Pastoral Counseling Services/Red Oak Behavioral Health and Interval Brotherhood Home/IBH Addiction Recovery Center. He has served as County adjunct faculty in the Department of Criminal Justice, University of Akron.
Mr. Evans is an accomplished speaker, and author, and he has lectured on the topics of professionalism, non-verbal communication, applicant screening, and polygraph, both nationally and internationally.
