Hanna Mark: Peterborough
Hanna is a watercolour and mixed media painter, who is currently enrolled in a Graphic Design Degree Program at York University and Sheridan College. A talented and award-winning artist from a young age, she continues to win accolades for her work. Her current expression incorporates detailed yet stylized linework with washes of colour. Her drawings are fanciful and imaginative and bring a cheerful brightness to any décor.

David Trotter: Port Perry
Fascination with leather and a passion for working with his hands lead David to apprentice in a leather shop when he was a teenager, then to go on to study art and craft at Sheridan College Oakville.
Using vegetable tanned cowhide, dyes and acrylics, David creates everything from fashion accessories to large three dimensional art pieces depicting landscapes, old buildings and abstract art pieces.

Calling all META4 students!
Show off your work as part of our Studio Soirees!
Now's the time to bring your pieces in.
Did you take an adult course or workshop this year? It's time to show off your wonderful work during our annual student show. And what's a show without a party!
Here's what you need to know:
Step 1: Choose & prepare your Work
Bring up to 2 pieces in any media, something you created in an adult class or as the result of a class you took at META4.
Be sure to label your work with your name and please have it ready to hang or display. That means a wire on your painting or some kind of mounting board for works on paper.
Step 2: Deliver your work
Bring your work to Peterborough anytime until August 29.
Bring your work to Port Perry anytime until September 3.
Step 3: Come to the Party!

After an August break, the Peterborough First Friday Art Crawl is back for another season. We wind it up on
Friday, September 6th with fun and free activity in the studio and a display of student work
(our Studio Soiree!) from the past year.
Drop by anytime between 6 pm and 10 pm for refreshments, fine fellowship and a chance to get creative with your friends. Then hit the streets of downtown Peterborough to visit artist studios and other creative venues. Having trouble deciding what which venue to visit next? Make a fun
