We are delighted to announce that Jackie Wiebe has accepted the promotion to Program Manager at CAMTA.

Jackie joined our team in 2015 as the Administrator, working alongside Barb Moreau to  oversee all aspects of administration required for successful CAMTA Missions to Ecuador. She has become an integral part of the year-round operations.

In her new role, Jackie will look after all aspects of organizing successful CAMTA Missions and initiatives. She will work with Barb to build the 2020 Team.
CAMTA receives International Development Grant
The Community Initiatives Program (CIP), International Development grant stream provides funds to organizations working to support sustainable community development projects in developing nations. The purpose of the International Development funding stream is to match or supplement the donations of Albertans to humanitarian projects in developing nations.

CAMTA is the very appreciative recipient of a grant of $25.000! We will use the funds to purchase medical supplies and equipment necessary to the Mission.
We have so many people and organizations to thank!
There are many businesses and people who offer professional services to CAMTA that may occasionally go unrecognized - 'tho never unappreciated!

Rose Tindill, of Tindill & Company Chartered Professional Accountants, along with her coworkers Teresa and Joan, has been keeping our books for over five years. As Jackie commented: "E veryone in that office has a perpetual smile on their faces - no problem is too big - all questions are answered in good time - they offer a feeling of "We've got this!"'

Rhonda Sveahun at Paull Travel not only arranges travel  to Quito for up to 100 team members from around the world  for each Mission, but also has been incredibly helpful in suggesting and arranging trips and excursions for travellers after the Missions.

Ruth and Kieran Kelly have allowed CAMTA to use space in their Antrim Construction Ltd. warehouse to store supplies and equipment between Missions. Karissa Lozinski at Antrim has been most accommodating in arranging access to Antrim for team members and deliveries as needed.
