The Cloud
I bring fresh showers for the thirsting flowers, From the seas and the streams; I bear light shade for the leaves when laid In their noonday dreams. From my wings are shaken the dews that waken the sweet buds every one, when rocked to rest on their mother's breast, as she dances about the sun. I wield the flail of the lashing hail, And whiten the green plains under, and then again I dissolve it in rain, and laugh as I pass in thunder.
-- Percy Bysshe Shelley

Greetings!
The Groton Conservation Trust wishes you and your family the happiest of holiday times and a healthy 2022 in the great outdoors.
We are thankful for all the beautiful pictures from member Sally Reed including our holiday card above.
We feel fortunate to be able to join many of you on walks, land dedications, talks and events throughout the year despite our cautious re-entry. We also look forward to getting to know many of our newest members.
Much of our work would not be possible if not for our many volunteers and advisory council members. From land work, to financials, to governance, our extended trust family makes our work much easier.
And we deeply appreciate our dedicated staffer, Katy Coburn who tirelessly looks for ways to connect you with our beautiful landscapes.
We wish you a safe, healthy and happy holiday season.
Your friends,
