President's Message
By: Yolanda V. Torres, HBA President

Dear members and friends of the Orange County Hispanic Bar Association,

I hope you are all enjoying your summer adventures. On August 15th, we had our Annual End of the Summer Mixer. I would like to thank the Orange County Jewish Bar Association, Orange County Women Lawyer's Association, J. Reuben Clark Society, Orange County Korean American Bar Association, Orange County Asian American Bar Association, Italian Lawyers of Orange County - Lex Romana, Orange County Bar Association, Iranian American Bar Association of Orange County, Muslim Bar Association of Southern California, The Celtic Bar Association, and the Filipino-American Lawyers of Orange County for joining us for our Annual End of the Summer Mixer. It was wonderful to see so many of our affiliate bar organizations come together with us to celebrate the end of summer. It was a wonderful evening had by all including members of our local bench.

We also especially want to thank Advanced Rehabilitation Center of Tustin and Gibson Dunn for sponsoring this event.

Our Immediate Past President, Darrell White and I attended the annual Orange County Bar Association's Raise Your Glass Event.  It was a successful and wonderful event. The proceeds for this charitable event benefit law related charities in our community.

The OCHBA, Mexican American Bar Association in LA, Latina Lawyers Bar Association, Hispanic National Bar Association and Congresswoman Linda Sanchez joined together for our joint summer mixer this month at Ballast Point in Long Beach.  It was wonderful to see members of our organizations come together for this event.
