APC International's Evaluation of Various PZT Technologies in Single Element Transducers Featured in CI Magazine!

In an effort to quantify the real world differences among various PZT technologies - APC International performed and documented a study comparing our traditional dense Navy II PZT (APC-850) with our porous Navy II PZT (APC-860) as well as a Navy II Composite comprised of 250um diameter fibers randomly arranged in an epoxy matrix at a 65% fill.

The published article covers the transducer build, experimental testing, processes and procedures, and the conclusion outlining the benefits of each type of piezo technology when built into identical single element piezo transducers.

The results are worth the read!
