One concern voiced by many voters and workers pertains to what safety precautions are being implemented in the polling locations. The Secretary of State has authorized funding to ensure the safety of all workers and voters in the polling place.

Here are the Polling Place Guidelines.
Collin All Democrats Phone Bank
The CCDP Coordinated Campaign hosts the Collin All Democrats virtual phone bank every weekend. Volunteers socialize, play games, win prizes, and make calls to get out the Democratic vote and turn our County Blue. Join the fun online every Saturday afternoon at 2 pm through November!

Each hour you spend at Collin All Dems earns you a chance to win two tickets to the Ann Richards Dinner, courtesy of the McKinney Area Democratic Club. Sign up here to receive the Zoom link.

Never phone banked before? No problem – training is available at each event. Hope to see you soon!

We've divided Collin and Denton Counties up into teams based on Texas House Districts and will be competing head to head for the number of calls made.

Ann Richards Virtual Dinner
The Collin County Democratic Party is excited to announce that we have rescheduled the Ann Richards Dinner. This year our event will be held virtually on Saturday, August 29th, 2020 . From the comfort of your home you will hear from inspiring speakers, bid on the silent auction, and even have the opportunity to join in special receptions as a sponsor.

You will hear directly from many of our amazing 2020 Democratic candidates. We look forward to announcing our extraordinary line-up of speakers and entertainers from across our region, state, and nation, and we will share more details soon.

Every dollar we raise from Democrats like you at our Ann Richards Dinner goes directly to electing our Democrats, flipping Collin County, and defeating Donald Trump! Few years in our lifetime have seen more at stake – and we cannot win this election and save our country without your help.

When we change Collin County, we will change Texas. When we change Texas, we will change the country!

Your ticket is waiting for you here:  txdp.cc/ardtickets

Democratically,
Carrie Petersen
Ann Richards Dinner Chair
Volunteers Needed for Events Committee
The Events committee is looking to add two additional voting members on our committee. You should be able to attend regular standing meetings held on the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m., be creative, interested in planning events, supporting events, and responsible for attending events.

We currently have four voting members and one ex-officio member. We look forward to growing our team and enhancing the overall experience of events, as well as those we are trying to reach in the Collin County community. Some of the types of events we work on are Democratic booths at local festivals such as the North Texas Pride Festival, Plano Balloon Festival, and McKinney Oktoberfest. Please contact the Events Co-Chairs by email at  events@collindemocrats.org  so we can explore your interests.
