Elissa Zylbershlag, Director of Conflict Resolution and Anti-Bias Initiatives at the New Jersey State Bar Foundation, will be providing an introduction to an exciting NEW curriculum and program called Social Emotional Character Development offered by the Foundation. Each participant will receive a complimentary curriculum at the training courtesy of the NJ State Bar Foundation.
The Social Emotional Character Development program focuses on how to integrate the five competencies of social and emotional learning into the classroom. Professionals will have an understanding of how to incorporate self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision-making into existing character education programs through lessons, journaling and the creation of new habits.
Ms. Zylbershlag will also provide a brief update on the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights legislation. Registration is required for this training.
