COVID-19 Testing and Testing Locations
Idaho State University has received several questions related to the availability of COVID-19 testing and testing sites. To clarify, at this time Idaho State is not conducting widespread COVID-19 testing for faculty, staff, or students. The University is currently working with community partners to increase testing capacity by early September. However, if you are symptomatic or have been exposed, please contact the University Health Center, your healthcare provider, or local public health department to see if you should be tested.

For our branch campuses, the University Health Center is available via telehealth to serve all Idaho State students, faculty, and staff. Medical help and consultation for all campuses is available by calling (208) 282-2330. For appointments, strict COVID-19 protocols are in place.

As a reminder, please self-report all COVID-19 positive tests, symptoms, or exposure to positive cases using the online form. All submissions will be kept confidential.
If you are seeking COVID-19 testing, please review the information below:
Pocatello
Testing is available on the north side of Holt Arena, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The testing is collected by nasal swab. Present your photo ID, insurance, and provider’s order when you drive up to the collection center. Results will be sent to your provider.

You may contact your private provider or the University Health Center to discuss the need for testing. Testing may also be arranged through the Southeastern Idaho Public Health COVID-19 Hotline at (208) 234-5875.
Idaho Falls
Testing may be arranged through Idaho State’s partner, Sterling Urgent Care, or through a private provider in Idaho Falls. Express Lab, operating at Mountain View Hospital, provides the COVID-19 test.

Meridian
Testing may be arranged through Idaho State’s partner, Unity Health Center, or a private provider. There are several drive-up testing locations available throughout the Treasure Valley.

Twin Falls
Idaho State does not have a partnership with a specific provider in Twin Falls. Please call University Health, your private provider, or a local urgent care center.
