HOURS OF SCHOOL AND MORNING INFORMATION
Our hours of operation remain the same. School officially begins at 8:30 and ends at 3:15, except on Thursday, when it ends at 2:00. The building will be accessible to students daily from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. For their safety, please do not have students arrive at school prior to 7:30, as they will not be able to enter the building and there will be no supervision available. At 7:30, the Morning Room (EDP Room, G01) will open. It is located very close to the double yellow doors from the garage. It will be staffed by teachers. Please bring all Lower School children who come to school before 8:20 to that room as a safety measure. Thank you!

MEDICAL FORMS
If your child is a new student or entering Kindergarten, we must have copies of their Certificate of Child Health Exam, Proof of School Dental Exam and Eye Exam Report forms by the first day of school. 2 nd  graders need proof of dental exams.
These forms are available on our website at  https://roycemoreschool.org/parents/roycemore-school-parent-resources/ .   State law requires these forms be on file by the first day of school and your child cannot attend school without them.
Pre-Kindergarten and Junior Kindergarten students do NOT need an eye exam.

Garage Door Information

Please remember that the garage door is locked to everyone who does not have an electronic keycard. We are issuing these to anyone on approved pick-up list of our Early Childhood and Lower School students. All new families please visit the receptionist to go through our Raptor system which does a basic criminal background check which takes about 60 seconds. Once this check has been complete, you will receive the key card.  If you do not do this, you will not be able to access the garage and will have to come in the main door of the building.

WHAT'S COOL ABOUT LOWER SCHOOL!

THE GARAGE:  We are very lucky at Roycemore, and especially in Lower School to have a garage to pull into and bring in the children out of the elements. Therefore we ask you to follow a few simple rules so the garage can work for everyone.

In Lower School, we welcome parents to bring their children into the building at drop-off and to pick them up in their classrooms at the end of the day. We ask that you think of the other parents and do not double park or park in spaces that are not identified as parking spaces. People do not stay long, so please go around the garage until a space opens.

The middle of the garage will now hold two cars. To make sure this works, if you are parking on the sides, please pull all the way to the wall. This will give us more space for the cars in the center.

There will be a teacher at the yellow double doors to take your children out of the car, if you do not wish to come in. If all the spaces are full, and you do not want to wait, please exit the garage and park on the street.

At pick-up please park in the garage and come into the building. Again if there is not a space, please go around until one opens up. This usually is no more than five minutes. If you double park, the garage becomes clogged and everyone has difficulty. Thank you in advance for being considerate of everyone.
