You can also find him on staff at the next regional dance event, Trilogy Swing, September 5th-8th, where he'll be teaching workshops, private lessons and the GPDIA certification course, and judging competition. Robin is available for ProAm competition so if you are interested in competing with a Pro partner, drop him a line!
Robin is also the Event Director of the West Coast Swing Champions at Sea dance cruise, February 22nd-27th, and would love to have you join him with dance pros Jordan & Tatiana, Kyle & Sarah and Markus & Tren, for five days in the Western Caribbean! A handful of CSDS/Central VA Westies are going so you'll already know some people; talk to Robin when he's here to get all the details!
Admission:

- $5 for CSDS Members with September Birthdays
- Children Under 16 are Free (no childcare services)
PRIVATE LESSONS:
Robin is available for a limited number of private lessons; contact Katie Bigelow to schedule yours! Robin is happy to give one-on-one and small group private lessons.
FOOTWEAR:
Please wear either dance shoes or light-colored soles; whatever you wear must be non-marking!
CODE of CONDUCT:
Attendees of CSDS events are expected to be familiar with and abide by our
Code of Conduct.
INCLEMENT WEATHER:
In the event of inclement weather, we will post any schedule updates/changes on our
public Facebook page (you don't have to have an account), by 2 pm.

Swing Swap Fall Schedule
Swing Swap returns to the
Murray High School gym on Thursday, September 5th. It's Open House style, come anytime between 7:30-9 pm to join Hosts Lisa Morales and Kevin Sumter for CSDS' free weekly dance practice!

Brandi Guild Workshops + Dance Recap
Thanks to all who attended our workshops, dinner and dance with Brandi Guild, what a wonderful time it was with dancers from near and far! If you enjoyed learning with Brandi, you can see her again at the next area weekend event, Trilogy Swing, in Durham, NC, September 5th-8th.

HELPERS WANTED!
Would you enjoy free admission to a CSDS dance? CSDS is a non-profit organization and is 100% run by volunteers. It "takes a village" to host a dance. Volunteer Coordinator
Kristin Wenger is collecting names of CSDS members who would be willing to help out from time to time in exchange for free admission. We need helpers to sit at the registration desk, clean up, or help with the snack table.

Adela is often the Table/Group Dinner Organizer for events attended by Charlottesville Westies ~ if you're planning to go to any of these or other events, let her know! And reserve your hotel room ASAP as the event hotels usually sell out well in advance; you can always cancel it later. Don't wait until you decide to go to book your room; it will be too late!
Gaia Read often organizes roadtrips from Charlottesville for the DC/MD/NoVA dances/events; contact her if you're interested in carpooling sometime.
