How does it work?

If you and your team choose to join the March in-person, nothing has changed from years past, except of course for the addition of COVID-19 safety measures such as physical distancing, hand sanitizers and the recommended wearing of face masks. Simply go to the March venue on Saturday, September 12th, 2020, at or before 9 am. Don’t forget to bring your mask, water, snacks, sunscreen, a hat, etc.
Important: We urge you to register on-line by Saturday, September 5th, 2020 so we can forecast attendance, speed up registration time and take all necessary precautions to provide a safe and fun experience for all.

If you and your team choose to participate within your own neighbourhood instead but still want to join the Zoom March Kick-Off before setting off on your own, here’s how:
  1. Register for the St. John's March as you usually would.
  2. Form your team.
  3. Together, map out a route in your neighbourhood and organize your own small-scale walk, bike, hike, etc.
  4. Start fundraising!
  5. On Saturday, September 12th at 9:00 am, login to your Zoom March Kick-Off to be a part of the city-wide virtual March launch and join in on the festivities! (To access your Zoom March Kick-Off link, click here.)
  6. When you and your teammates are ready, head off and do your neighbourhood-based March activity!
