Are you growing a garden this spring? Do you know which parts of the plant to pick to eat? Identify common plant parts and learn about the importance of where the fruits and vegetables we eat every day come from. 
Ag Pen Pal Sign Up
Sign up to participate in the 2020-2021 Ag Pen Pal Program ! The program is seeking farmers, ranchers, and classrooms to participate. The Ag Pen Pal Program connects farmers and ranchers with classrooms to help students understand where their food, fiber, and fuel comes from.

Farm Bureau County Fair Celebration
Nebraska Farm Bureau and Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation are keeping the festive fair spirit alive with a virtual county fair celebration! Join us on social media July 19 – 25 with many event options to stay busy! We’ll be hosting a Family Fun Game Night, sharing gardening tips, learning about Nebraska 4-H and FFA projects from Farm Bureau members, and sharing food labeling information from farming experts.

One Community - Coming August!
This kit is useful in a booth setting to engage and cultivate conversations about agriculture in Nebraska with adult learners. Each of the seven Nebraska Farm Bureau Regional Managers will have a kit that can be borrowed in their region. Contact your regional manager to discuss when social distancing will allow you to use this kit!
Sneak Peak: Translated AgMag
Nebraska Agriculture in the Classroom is pleased to provide fourth-grade classrooms with the newly translated AgMag series! The AgMag series has now been translated to Spanish and will be available online in August.
Farmer Mitch Crop Update
Farmer Mitch, who we visited with during our Corn Planting Virtual Field Trip earlier this year, sent us an update from his farm. See how high his corn has grown and learn about what he is doing on his farm this summer!
