Dear GCA member,

Here is your latest newsletter from the GCA. As always, we welcome your feedback.

What about that GCA Survey??
On Oc tober 1, you received an email with a link to a brief survey, the results of which the board will use in revising the GCA 2014 Strategic Plan. The email sender was gconway@ies-consulting because George Conway has offered to have his staff help with the survey at no cost to the GCA. GCA Board Members helped create the survey, and Deborah Rexrode, PhD, a survey specialist, refined the survey, administered it, and she will receive the results and help us analyze them.

Who can submit a survey ... You and the joint owner of your home are each welcome to complete the survey from your personal email address. One survey response is allowed from each email address. The survey responses are not votes, per se; rather, they give the board a general idea of what the community is thinking so as resources become available in the next five years, the board can plan appropriately.

Status ... Approximately a third of our residents have completed the survey and we are grateful for your time and insights, but we need to hear from everyone. Please submit the survey response by 14 October. If you own a home and have not yet received the survey email, please contact Thelma Washington at twashington@communitygroup.com with the subject line, “Survey email address.”

We need everyone’s participation to help us set priorities and work to ensure our home values and the many things we enjoy about our Glenmore community are secured for the future.

Thanks
The GCA Board
Fall Yard Debris Pick-up
Mark it on your calendars ... the Fall yard debris collection  will start on Monday,  4 November .

For the yard debris pickup, all branches should be placed at the curb by  7 AM on 4 November  with the cut end toward the street. No stumps, dirt, trash, or other yard debris will be collected. Anyone living near a GCA Common Area is invited to help bring fallen branches to the curb. If your material is not picked up on day one, not to worry, it will take about a week to finish the Glenmore circuit. Remember, there will be only one pass per residence and Common Area by the GCA contractor. Please be ready!

Note: We'll schedule a fall "leaf pick-up" at the end of November
