Consumers spent approximately $9.602 billion on herbal supplements across all market channels in 2019. Sales also continued to climb in the first half of 2020 during the initial stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, stimulated by consumer demand for herbal and nutritional supplements with potential immune-enhancing effects.
