Fall PEDU courses update
Sent on behalf of the Physical Education Department
There have been changes to the Fall 2020 PEDU courses.  Some of you will have students impacted by these changes. First, students who were enrolled in any PEDU class section that has been cancelled entirely have been informed via email. Students may reach out to you for re-advisement if they need to enroll in the missing credit hours. Students were not contacted directly if a PEDU class was moved online but no other changes were made so should, as with all Fall 2020 courses, check their schedule for format changes and discuss with their academic advisor. The Physical Activity Program has maintained a robust schedule of 104 PEDU sections that can be conducted safely in person or virtually. If you have specific questions, please contact Gary Nave at [email protected].

This summer, we will offer French, German, Latin and Spanish exams remotely to incoming freshmen and transfer students. (If a student wishes to take a different language exam, however, they must wait and take that once the campus reopens.)

Students should register for a specific testing date through our placement website at  http://artsandsciences.sc.edu/language-placement/home  (Option #1).  Once registered, they will receive a confirmation email with details about the exam. If you have questions or if there is anything unclear, please let me know.
