Graduation and Promotion Ceremony

Can you believe that the end of school is in two weeks! We look forward to a special day on Friday, June 7th as we both honor our graduates and celebrate the end of a another wonderful year.

Here are some details of the day:

The graduation and awards ceremony for 8th graders and Middle School award winners will take place in the Batten gym. Seating will start at 8:30AM and the ceremony will start at 9:00AM and last approximately an hour. The entire student body will be present to honor our 8th graders. Due to limited seating, this event is only attended by students, Grade 8 parents, their guests, and parents of award winners.

Starting at 10:30AM, we will also hold a promotion ceremony for the rest of our students, also in the Batten gym. This ceremony will be followed by classroom celebrations in your student's homeroom. There will be more information to come about that piece and parking for the event. All are welcome to this ceremony.

Parking details will be sent out next week!
Peabody 2020... Thank You!

Thank you for all of the amazing gifts we have received over the course of the month! We are so fortunate to have such a supportive community! We will be breaking ground on the new project soon! Stay tuned for details. If you haven't already, please consider making a gift to help create new opportunities for our children! A gift in any amount is significant and makes an impact for our kids!
Middle School Exam Schedule

Final exams will be held from June 3-5. Please refrain from scheduling appointments during this period.

The schedule is as follows:
6/3: All Grades World Language
6/4: All Grades Math
6/5: 8th Grade Biology

To assist students in preparing for exams, additional homework will not be assigned for the remainder of the year. The only exception is work that will help students get ready for the exam. (For example, Mr. Corlett may assign a group of review problems that will be gone over the next day to help with exam.) There will not be any additional tests given during the exam preparation period.
Middle School Trip to Kings Dominion

We are excited to offer a trip to Kings Dominion for all of our Middle School students on June 6th as a thank you for their hard work this year! The cost per student is $10 and Peabody will cover the rest of the entrance fee. Students will leave from school at 9:00 (drop off to school at normal time) and return to school between 4:30/5:00. Regular Classes will not be in session that day so we are encouraging all students to come!

We are looking for chaperones to help transport the kids to and from the park. Chaperone admissions fees will be covered fully by Peabody. If you are interested in chaperoning, please complete this form.

Additionally, please complete the Permission to Roam form if you are giving permission for your child to walk the park without an adult. We will have scheduled check-in times similar to the ski trip. We will provide more detail as we get closer to the trip.

Payment and all forms are due to Peabody by June 3rd.

We are looking forward to a fun last day with the kids!
