A New Chapter Begins

Dear Fenwick Families,
It is with great joy that we begin our journey at Bishop Fenwick! We hope that you share in our joy. The gracious welcome we have received from our colleagues on the faculty and staff, as well as from so many students and parents, has been overwhelming. What a stirring testament to the depth and authenticity of the Fenwick Family!
As August wanes and September awaits, we look forward to meeting you and, most especially, to working with your amazing daughters and sons. We will be hosting a series of casual "cookies and lemonade" gatherings to foster connection and community among us. An online invitation will follow shortly; we hope to see you there.
In looking ahead, we find inspiration in the words from Sunday's second reading:
Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1-2)
Let us, together, have faith in Fenwick, in each other, and most importantly in the amazing young people you entrust to our care. Let us believe that the things not yet seen-the promise of these scholars and the potential of this new year-will be blessings beyond compare.
With that sure and certain hope, we wish you a restful and relaxing end of summer. See you in a few weeks. Take care.

Tablet Orientation Reminder

The Technology Department will lead a two hour, highly reccomended, Tablet Orientation information session for all Ninth Grade students. Each session begins at 10:00 AM and is scheduled to end around noon. Please refer to the above schedule.
Construction continues and we ask that you please enter campus using the side driveways. You will come into the building through the back courtyard door - look for the balloons! Greeters will be at the door to direct you.

Beyond the Classroom this summer

Mr. Cox, a member of the Performing Arts faculty, traveled to Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh to perform with an international contingent of musicians at the Royal Edinburgh Miltary Tattoo, an event that attracts thousands of visitors from around the world to the heart of Edinburgh . Mr. Cox, invited to perform in the very prestigious "stage band", will be performing through the end of August.

returned to Galway, Ireland this summer to participate in the Celtic Irish American Academy High School program, this year with Maximo '20, Tim 21, and Michael '22. The trip included a visit to Trinity College Dublin's National Science Academy, pictured here. The students also participated in many local activities and cultural events including Gaelic Football and Hurling and attended "Climate Change - What Next", presented by Mary Robinson, former Irish President.
