Volunteers Needed!

Copper Creek is an AMAZING COMMUNITY SCHOOL with lots of wonderful volunteers that make it such a special place! We need your help to continue doing all the fabulous things we do! You don't need to commit to hours a week...just an hour or two a year! 

 

There will be sign up sheets for volunteer opportunities at Meet the Teacher on Wednesday!

What an incredible first two days.  I was so impressed with our students and staff.  It has been fun to see students connecting to each other, having a chance to share what is important to them, and making new friends. Our teachers have been wonderful and are doing a great job laying the foundation for a great year.   We also went over our school rules with students on Friday:

Keep Safe
 
Monday morning will be our first CREATE Hour from 7:45 - 8:45.  Make sure your kids are on time so they get to participate.  This hour each week will be dedicated to helping students exercise their creativity, think outside the box, and stretch their thinking.  It is going to be a great morning!
 
Other quick notes:
The first bell rings at 7:40, please have your students dropped off before then.  If you are dropping off after 7:45, please come to the office to sign-in.
If your child will be absent, please call the attendance line @ 696-6814.
Please attend parent orientation on Wednesday, August 14th, from 6 - 8 p.m.  The information is geared for parents.

Grab your blankets & chairs, meet up with old friends, and new, and join us in the MPR for our back to school movie night. Pizza, popcorn, otter pops, and drinks will be available for purchase. Doors open at 6:30. The movie will start  
about 7pm.

The PTO's largest fundraiser the Hawk Walk is on Friday, August 23rd at 8:30am. Mark your calendars and bring your family to join in the fun and volunteer for this wonderful event.
Please look for additional details regarding Hawk Walk in the letter/donation collection envelopes that will go home on August 12 (Monday)
