Description
While we would agree that ethics is an important element in virtually every part of society, it is an essential part of the healthcare profession. In this workshop, participants will revisit what healthy ethical boundaries are and are not. We will take a closer look at the sacred trust placed in us by those we serve and the need for healthy boundaries regarding confidentiality. The definition of what constitutes dual relationships in each profession will be considered. We will wrestle with the function of healthy ethical boundaries in the world of social media. Lastly, we will apply these ethical boundaries to case-scenarios.
