Lower School News

Pumpkin Carving Night was fantastic! The pumpkins arrived in a big truck and the third and fourth graders helped take them off! Then the fun began with dinner and carving pumpkins!! It was truly a fabulous night.

Thank you to all the parents who helped decorate the Multi-Purpose Room. It looked so festive. And also a huge thank you to those who stayed to clean up!

The Middle School Needs Help with P3, Personal Passion Project
Our Middle School personal passion projects (P3) are off to a great start! This year, all middle schoolers are connecting with a real-world problem associated with their own passion and interests, then using the Design Thinking process to design solutions to their chosen problem. We are looking for mentors to help our Middle School students with these projects. We are in need of experts from ALL fields to serve as mentors, with a particular need in the following areas: animal welfare, environmental action, community service, entrepreneurship, and technology. If you know of anyone who would like to work with a middle schooler, please ask them to fill out this form:  https://goo.gl/forms/f1IOQylI39cIkNnG2

What's Happening Around Lower School
  1. Math doesn't always have to be paper and pencil. Much more learning takes place when it is interactive. These students were learning of how rational numbers (positive and negative fractions and decimals) appear on a number line that they made.
