"I see God's hand going around in a circle as if He is stirring with a spoon." Then He said, "I'm stirring things up. Just because it isn't time to taste it yet doesn't mean it isn't being done." This was a vision and a Word from the Lord at Anna's Gate as the amazing prayer time ended and they were preparing for the worship and teaching time.
I see this "stirring" all over the world as we are all in transition.
It's a time to trust as we feel Him stir our lives and mix in the ingredients we have needed for this next season.
No, it's not comfortable and sometimes we don't like what comes to the surface for Him to skim off.
But we know we can trust Him!
He is the Master Chef and His amazing blend will wonderfully surprise us!
It will be satisfying and cause others to "taste and see that the Lord is good"!
Pastor John Dunn of Big Bear Christian Faith Center has been doing a series on the pruning of the Lord so that we can bear more fruit. (You can find the great messages on Big Bear Christian Faith Center's Facebook's home page.) It's the same principle as the pot. If we will embrace it, He will remove all that would rob us of the fruit of the spirit that we desire to have.
What's robbing us of our love, joy, peace,
etc.
? (Galatians chapter five) Nothing is more important than staying in the Kingdom of God!
That's our purpose for being here!
To bring Heaven into our realm of earth!
("Kingdom come,
Your
will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven!" Matt 6:10
)
That's
the example Jesus gave us. We need to quit taking the pruning
shears
(or spoon) out of His hands!
He loves us and wants His best for us!
What's hindering your pot?
We need to stop tasting the stew and deciding whether it is good or not and if we are going to allow Him to continue!
It's not done yet!
We are not done yet!
It's not time to taste but to trust!
We cannot see the whole picture.
We only know in part.
That is why we need the perfect One to perfect us! (1 Cor 13)
If you find yourself being impatient or discouraged with where you are right now, remember that He's not done yet. His ways are higher and more excellent.
Repent of impatience and complaining.
Choose to trust Him!
Then fill up on the Word that relates to your situation and allow the Word to cleanse away what is hindering your flavor!
He has the spoon in His hand and His stirring will be worth it all!
(Join us weekly for International mentoring every Tuesday at Anna's Gate and on
Facebook
.
)
Let's all choose to grow up and move into being the sons and daughters He has called us to be! Your pot is getting stirred!
